Past weekend -- Boonville Berrfest 2006 -- Another weekend of drinking huge amounts of beer, technicolor yawns, good BBQ, bullshitting around a fire. An an added bonus, sitting up saturday night watching movies on the laptop while sitting fireside. Talk about technology...gotta throw a bone into things.
What else... my kid is cooking along nicely. 2-10-10 confirmed a couple weeks back and all looks well for the early september delivery. Gonna be weird being responsible for someone but i am definately looking forward to it. Dont ask for sonogram pics, i dont post or display those things. Personal preference -- i hate when people ask to show you pics of their kid and its this black and white doppler looking thing...not a picture to me.
Anything else... caught a few baseball games the last 2 weeks. Mets were in town so i caught that whole series and i watch the Cubs play the Giants last night. Fun watching a stadium of 39K people cheer and get excited and then have the life sucked out of them when the other team robs Bonds of a homer. Hope that roid-boy gets banned by baseball like Pete Rose.
Other than that, I am just working my ass off taking care of my girl and house and keeping my job happy since they gave me a fat raise.
Now... I should get back to paying attention to this conference call before they ask me something that I have to answer...
