Yeah the book is always definitely better, the film is probably a nice little teaser to the novel.
Even though it was like an 80's film, it really isn't cheesy or anything, I think it pretty much is a good solid film, entertaining and all. The grandmother reminds me of mine though ::::shiver::::::
