Everything is going well in my land.

Calvin is all done with his surgery and the healing process is nearly over.
I say that just because he has a scar.
You wouldn't even know he had heart surgery 8 days ago.
Nothing else to look forward to but Christmas, the new year and our new life.

Thanks for taking the time to read my reflections. I like your thoughts on the moments we will remember in the end. It is very true that in life we have those moments that we think of no matter how significant, that stay tucked away, maybe even a smell or a feeling that is special. I also believe these are the moments that will flash right before we move on to where ever we are going. I'm glad to hear things are going well for your son, I can't imagine how difficult these times must have been. Makes my petty problems seem pretty insignificant in comparison. Still living at the hospital.
It's going to be a few days until Calvin gets to come home.
He is fine but the drainage coming out of his chest tube turned a milky color.
It's called Kylo (?)
It has to clear up before he comes home.
Could be a day, could be 2 weeks.
