Tonight I will attend a candlelight vigil for Cindy Sheehan, the mother who's son, Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, was killed in Iraq. Cindy is camped outside of the Bush ranch in Texas and has been for some time. She wants to ask the President why her son was killed. She hasn't gotten a response from Bush, who continues his five week vacation.
Cindy has asked supporters to start candlelight vigils in their communities to support her and call for an end to the war. So, MoveOn is teaming up with True Majority and Democracy for America to host Vigils for Cindy Sheehan tonight, August 17th, to show our solidarity with Cindy.
