As I type this my girl is at the Relay for Life site putting up our tent and helping to decorate our camp site. It has been a lot of work and I really didn't raise that much money personally but our team has raised about $3,000.
T designed the shirts that our team is going to wear. I think she did really good especially considering she's never used Photoshop before this. Tomorrow will be awesome.
We'll get there around 7 am to help finish the decorating of the site. The activities start at 10. Our team is hosting an activity for the kids and a game having something to do with the colon. I don't know the specifics yet but apparently it's a race though a colon shaped obstacle course.
I was supposed to decorate the baton that our team will hold while we are on the track but they didn't like my ideas so I told them to decorate the shit themselves. I wanted to make it rainbow with rainbow streamers coming out the top and bottom but they said it wasn't a gay event.
We are entered in the car race and have decorated a big box to look like a pink limo. That should be fun. It has to hold 2 team members and an egg.
So I guess I should be getting to bed soon as this is a 24 hour event. Hopefully the kids will take the night shift.
