So I was in a freaking accident today.
I was on my way to pick my girl up from work and this old guy runs into me. Before I can even think about reaching for the door handle the guy is right up on me trying to open my door. He's all, "I don't think there's any damage." He didn't even ask if we (my step-son was with me) were ok. So anyway the guy is trying to play it off like there is no damage, which there wasn't that I have noticed so far, so there was no reason to exchange insurance information or anything. He kept saying, "I'm sorry." and "It's ok, everything's ok. If you're ok, I'm ok." At one point, after telling him that my seat broke when he hit me, he actually got in my car and tried to fix the seat! I said, "Excuse me but I don't want you in my car."
I was on the phone with my girlfriend when it happened and she called the police, found a ride and got there within like 10 minutes. My hero
So it's been good to be home. I really missed my girl. She spent all day yesterday making a cd for me with music, pictures and graphics with some movie maker thing that came with the computer. I wish you could see it it's sooo sweet.
I dropped the film off at Cost Co today. I can't wait to see the outcome of my drunken photo shoot. I'm sure the fam could stand to wait. Apparently my brother-in-law is too embarrassed to even talk to me now.
So yeah, what a first day back. I think I'm going to take some ibuprofen and lay on the heating pad. Goodnight SG Land.
