Today was such a nice day. For anyone else it would probably be mundane and boring but I really enjoyed it.
The morning started out with my sleeping right through the alarm and missing my first class. Any other day and I would have been pissed at myself but it was not important for me to be there today.
Then, after my afternoon class I went shopping. I bought a nice bottle of pinot noir and a wedge of asiago cheese to go with dinner. Then I did more shopping, and a little more shopping after that.
Later, I made a fabulous dinner consisting of yummy cheese and multi grain and herb crackers, spinach dip with crusty sourdough french bread, salad with seven different greens, olives, feta cheese and home made balsamic vinaigrette dressing, and spaghetti. Then for dessert I mad chocolate dipped croissant.
Damn that was a good dinner.
After dinner we watched a movie (we almost made it through the first half) then we ended the evening perfectly by making love and falling asleep in each others arms.
::sigh:: don't you just love days like this?

those are always the best days, when you realize how great your life is without having to do anything extravagent... its just great being with the one you love laying on the sofa watching tv
