Well it's back to school day for me. Other than having to pay $220 (which is not that bad really) on books it was good. My English prof seems to be a hard ass. My Psychology prof is probably younger than me and has just finished school. This is her second semester as a full time teacher. Even if she hadn't told the class I would have suspected she was new because she is always smiling. Only the new ones smile. I'm super excited about my alternate processes class. The teacher is the same one I had for B&W. He is quite good and I have learned so much from him. My girlfriend bought me one of his prints for Christmas. Which reminds me I need to get a frame.

Finances are good due to an unexpected fat tax refund. We didn't expect to get much back but luckily the new tax laws are in our favor. I still get pissed when I think about the fact that if we were allowed to marry we would be saving a ton in taxes. Which reminds me:

The news broke early this morning: Senator Wayne Allard (R-CO) is reintroducing the Marriage Protection Amendment (MPA) on the Senate floor today making it one of the first items of business in the first full week of President Bushs second term.
In light of the many serious issues that our country is facing, it is absolutely outrageous that a small group of right-wing Senators would make discriminating against GLBT people their TOP priority right now.


Happy Most Depressing Day Of The Year.
Apparently some scientist has used a formula consisting of weather, debt, and failure of New Years resolutions and figured out that today is the most depressing day of the year. How depressing.
