I have just realized that one incident can change the course of events in my life. Weird how I have never thought about it before. Here, for you amusement (and mine) is an outline of the series of events that lead up to this journal update. Yesterday morning my girlfriend went to take the clothes out of the dryer and noticed that they were cold and wet still. Our dryer wasn't putting out any heat. So we figure that the pilot light went out and I called the gas company to come out to look at it. They were supposed to be here between 7 am and 8 PM but no one had shown up at 6 PM so I had to take the clothes to the laundry to dry them. So anyway there was a waiting area with tables and chairs and a TV that was blasting what I later found out to be the cartoon network. There was a show on with a grim reaper guy and a bunch of kids. It was the stupidest thing I have seen in quite sometime. One of the kids made a wish to be a super hero and then went in search of things to destroy. When he found what he was looking for he sprayed strawberry yogurt from his armpits and drowned them. Do people really watch this crap? I must admit it was slightly amusing simply because it was so bad. And now here I am telling you all about the first time in about 3 years I have watched television. It didn't take much to remind me why I tuned out in the first place.

Hey, thanks for the comment on my page smile

And, as far as TV goes, I've been without cable for 3 1/2 years, and sometimes I miss saturday morning cartoons but then I tune in at a friend's house only to find out how much they've gone down hill since I was little. But apparently if you pay for extreme-mondo-super cable/digital/whatever you can get Noggin which shows all those awesome shows from way back in the day.

And this comment has gotten *entirely* off subject, but... well... I really have no excuse for it.
