I'm off to the bay area this weekend for my sister-in-law's baby shower. She has been put on bed rest for the last two months of her pregnancy because she has high blood pressure and gained too much weight. I haven't seen her since she was about three months along and still tiny.

My mom called me from a parking lot where she had pulled over to cry yesterday. She said her husband told her that since she wasn't making any money she should move out. What a fucktard! That was her house before they got married and she just got a loan on her second house, my grandmothers old house, in order to buy him his own business. They have about half a million dollars in the bank saved from before she got hurt. It takes time to make money when you're a loan consultant. He needs to chill the fuck out and stop making my mom cry.

This has been an exhausting couple of weeks. I've been going on about 4-6 hours of sleep a day for way too long and it's catching up with me. I went off on the poor kid at Taco Bell yesterday. I was in the drive through and the kid had a grip of mild sauce in his hand when he said, "Will this be enough?" I said, "Uhm, I just need like two or so." And he said, "Are you sure?" I totally freaked out pulled over tot he side and went in the store. I yelled at the kid and told him he was a smart ass and demanded a refund. The kid was like, "Damn, lady, I was just kidding." I really need to get some rest before I snap at anyone else.

We're almost ready for the baby shower. We just have to figure out the gifts and get them wrapped, get the food, and make the candle thingies that my girlfriend found. This has been a lot of work so I can totally see why people hire party planners!
