I wore my "Meet the Fuckers" shirt (with pics of the Pres and VP) to class last night. I have wore it to school many, many times before and the only comments I have gotten were, "I like that shirt" or "That's awesome where'd you get it?" stuff like that. So, I'm sitting there before class starts and the girls on either side of me are talking about my shirt and we are talking a bit of politics. Then the teacher says it's time to start, the class quiets down.
He turns to me and says, "By the way, I think your shirt is inappropriate."
I wasn't sure I heard him right so I said, "Excuse me?"
He says it again and I reply in a cool tone, "Thank you for sharing your opinion."
Then he says, "I'd like to not see it again."
WTF? He waits till he calls the class to attention then comments on my shirt? What an ass. There was like 5 or 10 minutes from the time I walked in the classroom until he started, he could have said something then. But no, not this guy, he waits till he has everyone's attention.
Our school doesn't have a dress code. It's fucking college for fuck's sake! I am so wearing it every day now!
