but... pirates like the ocean, not rivers. Well, most of them didn't. Some did. Some were famous for only pirating in rivers.

true story.

So, uh, when you going to the river?

GRRRRREEEEEEAAAAAAT.

So my average in my organics class is so bad that it doesn't even matter if I show up to the final exam or not. It won't do a damn thing.

Fantastic.

I love knowing that I'm a dumbass by my own hand.
figmentation:
Well,
If you're gonna do it, do it right.
It seems you've done it right.

(and feel not *too* bad, for I am also finding it difficult to allow philisophy and eighteenth c. Literature to hold my attention. Academia just doesn't agree with the springtime I think. There are too many pretty things about and other distractions well worth being distracted over.)

(Like having such a beautiful river so friggin close on such a day as this. damn work. damn school. Damn sence of obligation to such concepts!

Her name is Pearl.

(And yes, she is perfection. She caught a creature the other day and ate it. I was proud. My mother was horrified.)

Things I Have Learned About Myself And Others In This Week:

1. Most people have a tough time discerning between flirtation and seduction. Flirtation is an enjoyment of mutual chemistry between two people. Flirtation is enjoyed purely for its own sake. Seduction is flirtation with a goal - to get somewhere, primarily in someone's pants.

I flirt. Quite a lot, in all actuality. Perhaps a...

YAY for experiental learning!

(and double yay for #4. Possibly applying the idea of clarifying interactions to the flirtations would make things more manageable as well... There are many many females who are hardly ever flirted with and are thus overwhelmed when someone does flirt with them and get the crazy idea that there's more or the possiblity for more than there actually is.)

It was absolutly friggin amazingly lovely. It was the perfect day to be at the river! The sun shone, the trees, and the plants, green as green could be. The water, Cold. It numbed the toes, and yet, felt so good after the warmth of the sun. and the women. oh the women... they, were the most beautiful creatures the sun did see! and there was a mermaid... yes. a real mermaid. She came and sat with us as we told stories. Stories of adventure and truth. Stories of learning and love. Stories... Wonderful wonderful stories.

(and I'm done gulittripping you... seriously though... We had a delightful time. smile kiss )

So last thursday at contra, I went back to my car to find mayonnaise on the door handle and the words 'Shit Kicker' on the window.

Wow. Vandals these days really don't come up with much, huh?

In other news . . . . . I bought a new journal. It's very awesome. It seems to be hand-bound, though it could just as easily be...

So it's now close to 5:30 according to my computer and I am just now feeling 95%.

I woke up this morning (if noon can be considered morning) to the tune of various drinking songs chasing each other around, smashing the furniture and basically making things inside my cranium incredibly uncomfortable.

There was definitely all sorts of ridiculousness involved last night - I know Guiness...

Well it's all for me grog, me jolly jolly grog
It's all for me beer and tobacco
For I spent all me tin with the lassies drinking gin
Far across the western ocean I must wander

Where are me boots, me noggin', noggin' boots?
They're all gone for beer and tobacco
For the heels they are worn out and the toes are kicked about
And...

I went swimming in the pond yesterday. A bunch of people were down there. They had set up a slackline above the water and a couple guys got half-way out before they fell off. There was also a rope-swing set up. It was much improved over the previous ones. I missed the feeling of flying through the air, that initial 'oh SHIT' feeling when you...
