so last night i went to maria's service. it was open casket..and probably one of the most disturbing events of my life. her chest was weird she had a scarf around her head (probably to cover the head trauma from the bat and knife) and her hands were bruised. the weird thing was her face looked exactly like it did when she was alive. it wasn't like most funerals i've been to where people look bloated and overly made-up. work's still weird without her, and i felt bad being one the only people from work (who wasn't from mexico) there. it was sad no one else turned out.

well i guess it's finally over, this little nightmare i've dealt with the last week and a half.
