there is an entire facet to psychology that dictates exactly what sociology says. it's called social psychology. the two don't compliment eachother simply because the field of sociology already exists in the realm of psychology --- yet psychologists believe that it is only true when it is put in context with other things. psychologists don't just believe in the medical model, they believe in a variety of models that, once they are integrated, make a bigger picture. the social realm of causation is only a small part of psychology -- and it is all of sociology. that's what i disagree with.
