almost everytime i talk about my plans,
they don't work out,
BUT!!!
Almost everytime i keep my mouth shut,
everything works out allright!
it's a hard line to walk,
almost convincing myself that things don't matter when indeed they do.
it really shocked me that a competition that i had entered, that i told no-one about, that i tried to not even think about at all, let me in!
i had no idea how much of myself i had actually invested in this thing
and i got in!
i was floored
almost in tears
jumping up and down
wow!

it's not like it's published yet,
but still!

i agree - it was a fluke that the flash didn't go off in those photographs, but oddly enough they were the ones i liked the best as well.
