Want to make a difference? Well, here's a good chance, for the next 24 hours, there will be a big event down here. A huge event, even. To learn a little about it follow this link, I will give you a short version:

Teleton is a massive fundraising event involving mass media, artists, volunteers, stores, all sorts of people, and the proceeds of the event go directly to 11 Rehabilitation Centers where children (up to 18 year olds are admitted) with all sorts of disabilities are treated to improve their life quality, entirely free of charge. In fact, one of these centers is the largest of its kind in the entire world. A few (very few) numbers:

11 is the number of Rehabilitation Centers currently in operation.
13 is the number of times the event has taken place.
1 Therapy School has been created to educate people interested in a career that will enable them to help rehabilitate children through this thing.
1 Hospital to treat children with cancer and leukemia. Also, through the Foundation.
28000 Children have received physical and psychological treatment.
15000 Are on a waiting list to receive treatment.
