Customer highlight of the week being... brace yourself folks this is a good one...
The starbucks store I work in is getting sued... getting sued because of me
Am I worried? Absolutly not, I did everything I was suppose to do, the lady is just a prisy little government worker who's looking for easy cash.
Ok so heres the deal, lady walks in says she has a peanut allergy and asks if there is any pastry I would recommend, I say "I dont advise that you have anything in the pastry case becasue everything comes into contact with peanuts" (she admits to the lawyers that I said this). Anyhow she goes onto order a Grande Americano, and maple oat scone... which has pecans. She takes it back to her office and goes into anaphylactic shock after eating the pastry, in turn she decides to call her laywers and sue, because I didn't single out the scone when she bought it.
I think its absolutly hilarious, I got to meet with Starbucks attorneys yesterday and tell my side of the story, I think what pisses me off the most is that they admited that if they took her to court she would lose, however the process would be way to expensive so they are settling the case, which means she gets money. She gets money for being a very incompitent lady, lovely how our civil system operates isn't it.
Besides all that fun stuff I've been holding steady with work, work and more work.
I'm getting my half sleeve finished today, should take less then an hour, it has been about a year or so since I started it so it will feel fantastic to have it all finished

Though I love their records, I found the show incredibly self-indulgent (it almost seemed like the band didn't know there was a crowd present) and disjointed.
It felt like a band practice and not a show!
Deerhoof and later on Black Angels really kicked ass! Made up for the Furnaces sucking.
