If the American League does not win the All-Star game tonight by at least 3 runs, I will post 3 completely nude pictures by next Monday. It's about time I did away with this racy profile pic before it hinders my chances at ever getting hired full-time...Oh, wait. I won't be hired for at least 2 more years.

I'm playing email tag with the professors...

It's been awhile since I went out drinking...
Saturday night was lots of fun...just me, Brett, Mike, and Heather...We met up with Brett's father and had some beverages at a couple of very chill, "adult"-type hangouts in the city. I thought I was a cheap date before--2 sex on the beach drinks and I was pretty much buzzed off my ass! Good times. Until later...

Awww.... Sorry for the odd sleeping times you had. frown

Booo... no drinking on Sunday. frown

Have a great day today! biggrin
clarkekid:
Yeah, I stay pretty energetic too while drinking... I only colapse when I get home because of being on the Dancefloor most of the night and am physically exhausted. If I never make it there, then I'm online or watching TV to come down so I can sleep.

I'd didn't really give work that much of a choice about my vacation. wink I'm really looking forward to some down time. Get some reading in, maybe some writing, take some pics, visit family in the area of where I'm going, and get some good drinking in. wink

Hmm... take you when I see Pirates, eh? Let's see... $400 for a plane ticket to LA and $12 for a movie ticket... hmm... I might be able to swing that. wink

Since I have Sunday and Monday off, MY weekend has officially arrived. My goal: to NOT dwell on getting hired, changing my educational program at the college, or Michael until Tuesday. Christ. It's like I'm constantly worried and stressed. So until then, here is some light-hearted blah blah blahs:

Run out right now and see Pirates of the Caribbean 2! It's a-ma-ZING! Funny, great acting,...

Well, I hope you find something really nice to spend your twenty bucks on. And don't spend it all on candy. tongue

Have a great day! biggrin

Enjoy your time off!

Just saw Pirates II yesterday. Cool flick!

I too would like to be stranded on a deserted island . . . with rum . . . and Keira Knightly! (since you're taken)

The bad days just keep rolling in...

Today I found out that I did not make the 22 people cut for the second interview at the school district I applied for. Ouch. That was most likely my ONLY chance at getting a full-time job for the fall. I was so pleased when the interview was over...I guess I should be proud that I gave it...

I'm still not digging some of the changes on this site: for instance-the updated journals...I feel like I have to go through all my friends just to see who's updated. Grrr. Any other complaints will be heard right now...

Today was a good day, all things considered. Due to miscommunication issues, a little girl showed up at Sylvan this morning for instruction when she wasn't...

The drama has finally subsided, but not without hurt feelings--
Brett and I have a lot to work on if we are going to make it as a couple. I've decided that there are freedoms I need to have, and there is compromise, but it can't always be in his favor. After my nervous/emotional breakdown on Sunday niight, my mom reminded me never to settle...

Today was a very ugly day. Things in the friendship and relationship departments are pretty shaky. I can't wait to go home and curl up in my own bed.

One of my close friends is going through a tough time, and he won't open up to anyone about it. It makes me so depressed when I can't do anything to help. Walls of defense are so hard to break down. I don't care if he doesn't talk to me...I just want him to talk to someone. Maybe I need to take a step back...

It was another semi-sleepless night...I fell asleep around 1230am and woke up around 4am...stayed up for about an hour just thinking...popped another sleeping pill and woke up to the sound of hell's bells at 745am. I worked until 1130am, got my hair cut and eyebrows waxed, and went home and passed out for two hours. I had to get up at 230pm to get tested...

Serene on the outside, tumultuous on the inside.
A pretty porcelain doll that is about to crack under the pressure of uncertainty.
I pray for deep sleep...
