Who's the girl who will NOT be attending any WBRU events or any other RI shows until after she turns 25 on February 5th. Hopefully, the quality of radio DJs and concerts will be somewhat better 2 months from now. Oh, yeah, and that girl is ME.
Yup...the drama demon continues to haunt. Let's just say for now that I ended up walking out of the show before The Used or Taking Back Sunday played. Yeah, TBS--my favorite band. Oh, and I puked in a cup on the way home while I swerved and nearly died.
So I have made a promise to myself that I will not listen to, call, email, or attend any shows sponsored by WBRU until I turn 25. If I keep my promise, I get to buy some new CDs. Well, since I will be depending on CDs for awhile (unfortunately WBRU is THE only alternative rock station in RI), why not start trading CDs? If anyone wants to make me a compilation of their favorite songs and mail it to me, I will gladly return the favor. Send me an email and we'll exchange addresses. Oh and I updated my contact information for any of you that had me on your Buddy Lists, etc..
Tomorrow I will fill you in on ALL the gory details of Tuesday night--I need one more night to sleep on it. It was ugly.
Let's see--Chris invited me to his company's Christmas party on Dec 18 at Bella Vista in Providence. Pretty cool.
