The work week is winding down and I don't have any definite plans for the weekend. I would like to check out this club/bar in Providence, called The Hot Club. Perhaps I will see what my sister is up to tomorrow night. It would be mad cool to go bowling on Saturday night. Fuck, it would be even better if I could SEE my crush.

The official countdown has begun-by the end of the weekend, I will have made my decision whether or not I will continue to be patient with Lex. Right now I kind of want to tell him to fuck off, but maybe I am just tired.

In other news, I slipped while taking step aerobics tonight and I think I re-injured my right ankle. Of course, I didn't stop working out, but instead plowed through the class like a champ. Adrenaline keeps the pain at bay.
Tomorrow is my friend Crystal's 22nd birthday. If it wasn't for her overly possessive boyfriend that lives with her and her grandmother, her and I would hang out all the time. She was upset yesterday because she doesn't want him to live with him anymore....and she misses her friends. Alicia and I try to get her out every SINGLE fucking weekend, but she never can.

Oh, and I found out that almost all the school districts in RI are cutting positions next year, so it looks like I will be doing years of substitute teaching. Maybe I should just go back to school full-time and get my master's degree. By the time I finish, maybe the employment situation will be better. Or at least I will have enough money to move someplace where there are available classrooms. I heard Arizona is a great place for teachers right now.
Oh la-dee-da! What a great mood I am in...maybe I should see if I can work over the weekend. At least being up to my nose in paperwork helps me forget that my life is getting me down.
Hope everyone else's weekend plans look more cheery than mine!

My weekend plans consist of wedding rehearsal, wedding, and then drinking and smoking. For someone who dreads weddings as much as I do, I seem to be in a lot of them. Hope you ankle feels better, and I think I will come on down on the 24th then, we'll grab a few drinks and chat. That actually works really well for me, because I consider myself a bit of an old man who just likes to sit back with a glass of whiskey and chat. At 23, who would of thought I would have been an old man?
