So the rumors are flying around New York and Beantown...Joe Torre's getting fired...A-Rod is coming to Fenway for Manny...geez...let the playoffs finish, Christ. Oh wait. Who IS in the playoffs? Ha. Seems to me that I am back to smiling...haven't done much of that lately. Always contemplating my purpose in life. I'm still hoping for the Sylvan job, but the director of operations is so stressed that she isn't marketing, and therefore we don't have enough kids for her to warrant a fulltime director of education. Sigh. By Wednesday I will be ready to hang up my erasers and move on to something different.
