I'm done with housesitting for now. It was fun for the most part, but there is nothing like your own bed.
The interviews: Well, the first one at the Catholic school went really well. They added me to their sub list for this year and then I will be formally interviewed in the summer for a full-time position.
The second one was more formal, but I won't accept the position even if it's offered to me. The school is a private institution that is located in the middle of nowhere, down a dirt road. The building doesn't resemble a schoo at all, and the curriculum is entirely based around Native American culture and ways of life. I have nothing against Native Americans, but I did not feel comfortable with the idea of actually growing the crops that the Native Americans used as food. I can see the relevancy in terms of connecting science and mathematics to real life situations, but that is not my culture. It was strange to see Native Americans dressed in their traditional attire. I am glad I went to the interview because I think it is good experience for me.
I got an 88 on my midterm. Grrr. I wanted an A.
I subbed today as a high school physics teacher-ha. The teacher left a video for the classes to watch. The video was on Killer Viruses. Hardly a topic that is discussed in Physics. Oh well. That is the hiring school district so I just do as I am told.
Tomorrow I am teaching Family and Consumer Science at a middle school. Happy happy joy joy!
I'll need my vocals to be well-rested for a day of yelling.
Currently, I am taking a break from a project that is due next Monday. It's actually not as time-consuming as I thought it would be.
I cooked meatloaf for the first time tonight. Who said I couldn't be domesticated?
I cannot wait to do my new profile pics on Saturday. I have been thinking about my outfit all week. It's going to be very revealing, both on the top and on the bottom....hmmmm...think pink and black...and a chair...
I watched Flight Plan and the third installment (I think) of the Urban Legend movies. It was about the legend of Bloody Mary and there was this AWFUL scene with spiders. Ewww.

Oh, if anyone wants to talk to me via AIM, please send me a message with your screenname so I know who you are. Because of the amount of people on myspace, I ignore any IM's that I don't recognize.

---------Now About Your Letter of Application--
Dear Lisa,
thank you so much for your candid letter regarding your wishes to smack the living shit out of wretched little sinners.
But I am afraid that the Penguin Outfit is standard. You see this way there is no confusion about it being God's swift justice, and not just the frustrated sadistic urges of some perverted ,twisted, and generally unhappy person.
Those we have in the Priesthood.
The Priest Does the wretched little sinner.
The "Mon Senoir" does the Priest.
The Bishop does the" Mon Senoir".
The Arch-Bishop does the Bishop.
The Cardinal does the Arch-Bishop.
And I do Him!
"Wretched with sin all of you! Down on your knees!"
"Knowing all truth is less than doing a little bit of good". A truer statement has never been written. Knowledge is worthless without action. To believe in something is great, but without action, your words or thoughts are empty. It's like saying 'I love you'. Most people go through the motions of it, but rarely do people actually mean it. You must act in order for your words or thoughts to have meaning. Philosophy is only good to those who use it. Huh, I feel like I'm being redundant.
