Just got back from my company's Holiday shindig. Drank a bit, danced a bit, ate a good meal on the company dime.
What vexes me, though, is that I heard my good friend's girlfriend (someone who I went to high school with and only recently fell out of a close friendship with) tell a co-worker that she was "using [him] for the sex. Which is about all he's good for." She brought up the topic of "not seeing herself with [him]" in the long run just a week ago, but he still has feelings for her...
I'm not sure if I should tell him, but I feel obligated to, as his close friend and roommate. I just wish that I never heard her drunken confession and didn't have to feel so bad to reveal it to him (if, in fact, I do).
(I'm a bit tipsy -- excuse any spelling errors or incoherency, thanks).
