I'm in shock. Life once again has been put into perspective.

I just found out one of my friends from back home has a tumour on his heart. He has to have open heart surgery to remove it. He's just won the battle against testicular cancer and now this . He's only a year older than me. Wow.

He's so upbeat and positive. They're hoping it's a benign tumour that was discovered as a consequence of the earlier cancer. He has no tumour markers in his blood tests, so they think it might be benign.

I so hope it is.

So, enough of me whining about turning 31. I should be glad to be alive and healthy. Hell I am glad to be alive.

I'm listening to the CD's from the SGUK swap from Murakami, walkswithbears, greenthought, Marky, Forkandles and The_Happy_Pig. It's been good timing as I was getting sick of my own music collection, and so far I have really enjoyed listening to music that is different from my own. Variety is the spice of life people
