In other news...

August 3rd came and past. It is s pretty signifigant date for me. It marks the 16th anniversary of my brother's death. He was 16 when he died, so its a little weird.

I was at a grief support group meeting on Thursday, and there was a new lady who showed up. He son had just died a few months ago.

It's really strange, I know it has been 16 years, but Thursday night, listening to her talk made me live it again. I am glad I can still feel it, though. I love my pain, if that makes any sense.

I don't think about Robbie as often as I used to, so I need to keep going to this group to remind me to feel again for at least a little while. I'd been on the road so much, that I missed a bunch of meetings, and it was good to be back.

Plus, I feel that at the group when I can share my feelings and my journey with those who are just starting it, if helps them in some small way too, if that makes any sense...

Alas...

I'll be home in a week, maybe I'll see some of you in Vegas!
