I'm sitting in Houston International Aiport, waiting for my flight to Phoenix, then on to San Carlos, Mexico.

vasily and I are going sailing for a week, and getting an ASA certification, so that we will be able to charter a sailboat anywhere in the world. I'm pretty excited. Hopefully, we can plan a trip in the Med next summer.

Things have been quite interesting lately, my roommate has been going through some rough times, and her mom is guilt-tripping her to go back to Japan. She came to the US to go to college, and in two years, she hasn't been able to start, because usually as soon as she is ready to start, her mom comes up with some kind of tradgedy.

I really don't want her to go, and all our friends are trying to get her to stay too. Hopefully she'll stick around through Halloween.

I've got a kick-ass Halloween costume planned out, though. Three of us are going out (if my roommate sticks around), so I'm wearing my tuxedo with a red silk shirt and red silk tie, and horns and a tail, and my red contacts, and going as the Devil. One female friend of mine is going as a total angel in a virginial white dress, and feather wings, and another female friend is going as a dark angel, with black wings, fishnets, spiked collar, etc.

We're going to look good...
