The Quest for Sushi
OK well, seeing as Anchorage is close to the ocean, I had the misconception that there would be some good sushi in this freaking town. After a bad experience at a buffet, I was still willing to try again. Seeing in the guide that "Pete's Sushi" is the most popular sushi place in town, despite the name, I decided to give it a shot.
Unfortunately, Pete's isn't that well documented on the map, and the phone number listed was wrong as well.
I gave up and found a local Chinese place "Fu Du". After getting off to a rocky start with the proprietor, a few of the right Chinese words landed me some free egg rolls.
Then I made a fool of myself by dropping one on my lap.
It's been a while since I've used those chopsticks... Gotta keep in practice...
