Watching lots of movies, so far:
Anchorman (one of my favorites)
Napoleon Dynamite (good, but I guess I agree with Jane, a tad overrated)
Played a lot of DOA, but for some reason I suck in Virginia! (That's what SHE said!!! Har!)
Impending movie watching:
Garden State (I am so excited to finally see this flick)
Suicide Club (ditto)
Kung Pow (one of my all time favorite movies, I hope he likes it or I'm going to feel really stupid. Fortunately I'll be too busy laughing at all the toilet humor to really care)
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (both seen it, both love it)
I can't believe he leaves on Monday though. Hey time, cut it out. Bastard.
Meanwhile, I'd love some thoughts on this situation:
My grandfather offered me $1000 to take out my cheek piercings.
I guess to most people this will seem like a no-brainer...but it's just not that simple. Originally I was leaning towards doing it, but I don't know. I love them. I really, really love them. They've been such a bitch to heal, and they're FINALLY on the verge of being done (still some weird bumpiness, but getting there. I've had them for 10 months) and I've come so close to taking them out for a number of reasons -- at first because I got sick of all the attention they got me (Didn't that HURT? Blah blah blah) and then because they were taking so long to heal, etc etc...but yeah. I just don't know. It takes me about 2 months of working full time to make $1000 and I would be willing to work that much without pay to be able to keep them. Sigh. Just wondering what people think about this.

If you blew the money on more body alt stuff will your grandfather be mad? I'd assume? Seems a tad childish to do that.
I agree with ppl else who said you should do it for you, not the cash, but I think you should keep em because they're sexy. Which isn't for you at all
