Doing 90-100mph down 95N with the windows down chain-smoking cheap gas station cigarettes and blaring Van Halen makes me feel like the badassest motherfuckingest motherfucker around. Spilling Mountain Dew all over myself detracts from this only slightly.

First off, this is a long entry. I am aware of that. Please do not point it out to me in a comment. Seriously. Don't do it.
Anyway I categorized it for you lazy/ADD fucks out there.

End of school woes, followed by post-semester tribulation
So yes, it is true, I was MIA for a while but I've returned. Not from Nam, but from NC. I finished up the semester at school (not a moment too soon) and somehow made it home. Things got a bit rough I will admit...my bus to the Albany airport was scheduled to leave at 2:30pm Wednesday, and as of 12:30pm I had just completed my eight page psych paper and was not yet done packing...by the time I actually managed to finish packing, mail off TheAngus and Wtf_Sammich's care packages as well as a box of stuff that wouldn't fit in my bags to take on the plane, and run to my friend Abby's dorm for the rushed drive to the bus station where I discovered that, purely because the bus was (as usual) late, I hadn't missed it, I honestly felt like I was about to die, and was somewhat welcoming the event. But...yeah. I made it. And - you caught me! - I'm glad.

Self-promotion via gifting
And the lovely EvilLyn finally got my holiday care package, and reports fondness for her print, which is loverly news. She also, as anticipated, enjoyed my decision to use her face as my final project which resulted in 15 college students taking a copy of the print home.

Hot Lovins had in Raleigh, NC
Sooooo plugging on I had a wonderful weekend with TheAngus in Raleigh, as was to be expected.
Important Events:

-Video Games
We discovered we are perfectly even at DOA 3, although he kicks my ass at Burnout 3. Then again, I was playing for the first time as opposed to the guy with 37 hours of practice. Yeesh. wink

-SGNC Holiday Partay + Way Too Many Pictures
Went to a great SGNC party Saturday night at Kitschy and Idjiit's house, and they both rule even more in person than online, and are marvelous hosts with one of the most beautiful homes I have ever been in. Because I'm tired and lazy and all kinds of other derogatory adjectives, check out TheAngus's journal for details. I'll put up pictures when I've got em. But yeah, great fun had by all, and Samba de Amigo for Dreamcast is the greatest past time ever, second only to watching Idjiit's ass while engaging in said game. Seriously. It's mesmerizing.

[Edit: Yes! Pics are up. Check out Idjiit's website for the whole scoop, meanwhile I got to be a part of the infamous potty pics series]:

I am in love with the color of this man's bathroom.

Idjiit fucking rules, the end:

We appear to be happy about something, I'm betting (for me anyway) it's the mozzerella sticks:

and me looking very deep with a champagne flute full of sparkling cider:

-Kareoke Madness or It's entirely possible I do not in fact know how to spell "kareoke." It's not like I'm a Japanese major or anything whatever
Friday night Angus and I went out for half-price sushi and kareoke. He got wasted. Hilarity. I was DD, but did share two shots of warm sake with a very enthusiastic Korean guy who later sang some surprisingly good Guns N Roses with my inebriated boy toy.

I sang one song.

You have three guesses, and your first two don't count.
