Spent today tromping around in the rain looking for jobs, then driving Jane home from school, then continuing to tromp.

Picked up an application for Urban XChange (piercing place)
Went to 3 Ben and Jerry's, but wasn't able to apply to any of them. 2 out of 3 were hiring, but none had any applications. Oh well, I have to go back to the boardwalk tomorrow anyway to meet with the Old-Timey photo manager, return my Urban XChange app, and then I'll check with B&J again. I really don't want to work for Hot Topic. Have to go back by there ( the mall.....::shudder:: ) on Monday to give them the TOKYOPOP phone number which I didn't have on me. So there.
Jane said I have joint custody of Lazarus II and can take him to school with me next term. Yesssssss.
I've been feeling kind of depressed ever since I got home, and I was hoping it would get better, but it's only getting worse. It's the physical kind, I'm not really upset in my mind, just it feels all gross and heavy on my chest and like it's kinda hard to breathe, plus all heavy in the pit of my stomach. I hate this. At least it's just the physical kind, which can be easily solved by cruising around with Jane and smoking cigarettes and eeeeaaating. What could be better than filling the void in your soul with cancer, trans-fatty acids, and your very favorite high schooler? Maybe seeing The Shins at the Norva and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in New York, but not much else.
I'm supposed to go to Josh's birthday party tonight, but can you say blowing it the hell off? Very good.
I was going to be blowing it off for an actual reason if Jane called to say I could spend the night, but no such luck, so I'm blowing it off to play Final Fantasy X. Whoo.
