Hi everybody, so, here's the deal (in addition to school/stress/my angry body completely kicking my ass for the past month):

I'm required by my school to do an internship every year lasting from early January to late February (about 6 weeks) and I am really floundering this time around. I was wondering if anyone is or knows anyone who is a business owner (or at least high up enough to hire interns) who is willing to take on an intern for 5-6 weeks, full or part-time. At this point I'm interested in any geographic location in the US, but would prefer East Coast, specifically New York (city or state). My area of study is mainly Japanese (with a focus on translation, specifically video games), but I am getting desperate at this point and am interested in just about anything I am qualified for. I'm minoring in psychology and have taken a lot of creative writing and art classes. I have a resume I can send you, basically my work experience consists of about 4 years of administrative/secretarial work at a psychologist's office, a marketing and PR internship with TOKYOPOP (www.tokyopop.com) in Los Angeles, and substantial retail experience at two piercing shops as well as Hot Topic. I have extensive experience filing, answering phones, typing, proofreading, etc. Something paid would be phenomenal, but I am not expecting to find that.
