An Amsterdammer in the U.S.? Fascinating. I just read your post on Economics, and came over to see your profile. I've only spent a month in the 'Dam, but I tried to pay attention to NL politics and football out of curiousity. My first visit was right after the D66 brought down the govt.

I think Amsterdam is a wonderful city. It is one of the places I could live if I could afford it and could speek the language.
