today i parted with a little over $100 for my new cheap-o kmart air conditioner, i took it home, hauled it into my apartment, assembled it and installed it all by myself. good job! did i install it correctly? not exactly... but its in, and functional, and i am enjoying my artifically chilled life right now. biggrin
zardize:
I'm sorry to say this but you should go to sears and try this out. The one you bought for 100 dollars is probibly about 5,000 btus. Now for about 100 more, now i now this is alot but.. Go to sears and find a floor model and u can usually swendle them out of it for a lot less than they are asking. Look for one that is about 18,000btu. Thats your best and it can cool your ass off. Or just pretend i didn't say anything. Its just i needed a good one cause at one point i had lived in a renovated attic. it was hot. I'm not trying to piss you off just give you an idea if you want ta take this point of action. For More Cold. Yeah and those little bastards are hard to install right but as long as its at a slight angle to let the moisture from the compressor to drain it will be all good.
knecht:
Much better than my $10 ghetto air conditioner. A bowl of ice in front of my cheap ass fan ain't cutting it. frown For some reason I thought spending $200 on my new Polaroid Bravo transfer machine thingy would be a more satisfying way to spend my hard earned $$. surreal

"bitches love me cuz they know that i can rock."

I don't think that Kelly herself must die, just those suck-bags that yell it at you. Think of it as kind of a natural selection type dealie.

They aren't technically jellyfish, they're sea nettles, but I'll be goldurned if I know the difference. Jellyfish are awesome - they are like 95% water, so they are basically beautiful ephemeral nothings.

hey there.

I see that you're a Bowie fan. I'm letting you know that I may be able to get you a ticket to Bowie's 2003-2004 tour. No I will not overcharge you. I will just charge you the face value of the ticket price, but I may be able to get it at face value at presale price. Let me know if you want to go this winter. Noo guaratnees of the presale price, but I'll see what I can do. Ciao.

I don't regret going to MassArt, but sometimes I feel like all I got out of it was burnt out on art. blackeyed I started a few continuing ed photo classes at the Museum School this past Monday. I don't have any days off until July, but it's great to be spending all my energy on art again. I'm going to try to post some of the pics I've made sometime tonight, so if you want to see what I'm doing, check it out. So do you still make art? If so, what kind?

P.S. The new haircut looks great!

So we were in the ill dept. at the same time our sophomore year? Weird. So are you one of the few MassArt grads who is actually using their degree? I know that most of the ill majors are not. At all. Including me. Oh how I should have run to the photo dept. frown

Have you noticed that we were born only four days apart? surreal
knecht:
I lived in Baker Hall freshman year, the last year before it was reclaimed by Wentworth. Bleh - memories of pain/nausea inducing cafeteria food. puke biggrin

Because of the post-traumatic stress caused by the Ill. dept., i've just recently been able to start drawing again after 3 years of avoiding it with photography.
blackeyed Illustration bad! Bad I say! Oh well...

So how did you end up in CT?
