its friday, its snowing, and its supposed to continue until sunday. 
up to 18 inches of accumulation, they say. so, it looks like i'm snowed in this weekend 
and in my mailbox today, were two sources of entertainment that i ordered online: a book, and (finally) my insprial condoms. however, with the impending weather and the fact that my boyfriend has to work tomorrow, neither of us are willing to make the hourlong drive and hang out. so.... it looks like its gonna have to be the book. 
its called "walking through clear water in a pool painted black", by cookie mueller. the memoirs of one of john waters' early stars, fuck yeah. (if you've ever seen pink flamingos, think "cookie the spy", from the chicken scene- ugh ) aside from getting fucked with a live chicken on film, seems like she had some pretty hilarious or tragic misadventures. i knew she died of AIDS in the 80s, but i just read on the last page (whatever that thing is called where they write about the author) that her husband also died of AIDS only 2 months prior.
hmmph.

For Christmas, I want a sewing machine. I've been feeling crafty lately - I want to make my own pillows and clothes! I guess that makes me sound old...
