I am presently in a state of ennui. I want to go to Chicago soon and get a drink at The Hideout, walk through the industrial wastelands, take the Division bus somewhere, listen to the constant din of firecrackers and gunshots at night, eat at some horrible taqueria, climb on top of a building, etc.
The midwest is going to be stiflingly hot about now and the days are going to be lazy and long. I can almost smell the lush trees surrounding the Missouri river and taste that first sip of lukewarm Pabst.
