My friend Andrew came up with a Passion Fruit Martini, made from the passion fruits growing at the farm. He made me one the other day and used Absolute Vodka. All I could taste was the alcohol. The drink burned my nose with every sip. This is not a sign of a good drink in my oppinion. Once upon a time I wanted my drinks strong, not good. But, after years of going to good bars, and going to bartending school for mixology, I have learned how to mix a drink that excentuates the flavors and not the alcohol. I said that I don't like Absolute Vodka. 
Absolute makes good flavored vodka, but the vodka is like rubbing alcohol. Well, Andrew being who he is, went off on me about how Absolute is a top shelf vodka, and one of the best. He went on and on and on, because Andrew must always be right, and is unable to drop a subject after he makes his point. So I just sat their because there is no point in saying anything when he is like that. My brother hosted a vodka tasting party once, which was done as a double blind. Absolute came in last. Anyhow...I want to know vodka other people prefer. My vote is for Gray Goose.

I gotta say that while gray goose is good VOX is really good, but not worth the price at the bars. So when I go out I normally just drink stoli.
