I think this house has bad feng shui or something. I've lived here almost 2 years, and things in my life just keep going wrong. Just recently, I have been surprised to find out that the landlords (who live upstairs - it's a duplex) are splitting up and selling the house; the bad feng shui got to them too, I guess. Luckily, it won't be a problem in terms of living here since the move to NYC is coming up in August. It's just kind of sad, they're nice, and now their dogs are getting split up too frown

The other bad part is the potential for real-estate agents and buyers to poke through the apartment. I DESPISE that! I have bad luck with living in apartments where the landlord decides to sell the house (that would be 4 times already including this one). I have to leave the house or else I'm prone to growling and biting, much like the dog.

I certainly don't feel like I've done anything. Most of it was just lounging around, reading books. My crowning achievement was getting dressed.

Houses you live in do tend to get sold, to be sure.

Try to think of it as that your presence there adds value, and landlords rush to cash in.
