My dad left ama and flew back to Albuquerque, where he has arrived safely. The doctors in the San Antonio hospital had initially told him his tests were normal, but then when he tried to leave, they finally told him the truth that the tests weren't actually normal. It seems quite unethical to lie to people in the hospital, but I think it happens a lot. So he left. Somehow I don't blame him for not wanting to get treated in a hospital where they lie to him... he'll be seeing his doctor in ABQ. Thanks to everyone who expressed concern smile

So, now for something completely different. To cheer us up: more diy jewelry!

This is a silver hanging bat necklace I made for (now greyed) oimoi0's significant other, whom I actually know from the "real world"!

Dragonfly earring, of which there is only one. I only had enough bits to make one, so the other will have to be not quite matching (some other kind of bug and hoop combo, I surmise)

Of plastic and wood:

This one is named "confusion". That's a head at the bottom.

New Mexico charm bracelet, with chile peppers, turquoise, roadrunner, lizard, balloon/Zia, atom from the atomic museum, alien heads, the state, cactus, beads, and some other stuff:

Plus, my septum is healing well.

Also, I'm rotating favorites again, at least for a while. That would be, the first four: the fifth always rotates independently. Last week I had Italian SG's. This week...

That dragonfly is just amazing. I've never seen anything like it, and it's beautiful.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Best wishes for his recovery and continued health. I'm glad he has a doctor that he trusts.

Sorry to hear about all the stresses.
Can I MSN you that Death Cab for Cutie song?
It makes me feel better.
