Hello suicide world ,
As I drink a glass of wine (or maybe two) I think it's the correct time to write a homework and to let you know me better!
So the "celebrity" who inspired me the most is definitely Bettie Page.Not only because she was a pin up and fashion idol but also because she let herself free to do and choose what she wanted to ,even if she was too "provocative" for her century . Bettie Page did things that seemed abnormal and conflicting for some people , she used to dress with midi high waist dresses like a lady and from the other hand she was photographed with over sexual outfits and most of the times like a slave or like a mistress , for me this is the point to be a woman , you have to be both to feel complete .But the best part of the story is , that even there were people who judged her , all of them accepted her the way that she was , because she was real , and the majority even loved her at the end .The last reason why she inspires me so much it's because I can find that we walk in some common lines.She had several violent episodes and she was diagnosed with acute schizophrenia , this means that one previous healthy person shows increasingly odd behavior over a fairly short period of time of perhaps a few weeks.We remember her great smile because the days that she had her blues she couldn't leave her home. Before 4 years I was diagnosed with the same , but two years later they found out that it was bipolar disorder with psychotic symptoms . I was getting maniac or depressed, there was no in the middle for me .But thankfully soon realized that I had developed guiltiness because I wanted to do things in my life that not everyone would approve. So now , that I have left the voices and the violence behind me I think and strongly believe , that you can do anything that makes you happy and there is no reason to try to explain why you want it when someone else doesn't. As long as you don't hurt someone or yourself ,it suffices that makes you happy ! This was Bettie Page ,a smart and real woman and every time that I have a second thought about what others may think ,I look her big smile and continue !
The truth is that for the same reason I fell in love with Suicide Girls from my teenage life and then , this is also why even if you are not a celebrity I admire you also @missy & @rambo and of course all the girls here :)
