Wel my old kingswood still can't get out of wallatina, but i am in mintabie again and the roads have definately dried up a lot after the really hot (40C) and windy days we've had. I think i might try and give it a burl on the weekend, tho' now i am thinking about treying to go further north to Alice for a book launch of my friends book that will be on next friday....i figure i'm only 500 k's away i might as well!
There is surprise around every corner out here, first was the big rains, then the fish in the dams, now i've just met Fidel Castro's niece who is a school teacher at the school here in the middle of these dusty opal fields!!!
I'm waiting for the ufo's now......
