My first bike was a '77 CB750F, but I was its eighth owner according to the title. It had been hotrodded in unknown ways, and rode like a demon. I've got its original front wheel in my attic.
Sorry to hear about the Palomar crash. I loved Palomar when I was at UCSD. Used to ride out to Borrego Springs for a burger on the way back home.
