this past august has been 1 year since my grandmother died. it was something i knew would happen but i never knew when. i dreaded it since i can remember, whenever this day would come. it deflated my sails for a long time, kinda gave me a different outlook on things. i had to leave the country for her funeral. i live in the us on a permanent resident card. it is so old that i had problems leaving the las vegas airport. they decided to let me deal with it in my next stop. next stop i ran into more trouble. again they let me through. both times i was one of the last people on board. so, a country that i am not a citizen of almost doesnt let me leave. i get to my home country and they almost dont let me in. i had to plead with the customs officials. anyway, i go to the funeral home and see my grandmother. the next day is her service. i rode in the hearse with her to the cemetary. i helped unload her and waited for the service. we then went to her final resting place. i helped lower her and thew a flower on her casket. i was the last person to see her. i shut the casket. i was very honored to have had a big role in her funeral. i was her favorite grandson and the last grandson to see her alive. same with my grandfather. maybe i should stay away from old people? i miss her.

well on to funner things. i cant wait for todays games to start. i think green bay and new england will win. i pulling for green bay because i like brett favre. he seems like a good guy. a comman mans quarterback. no armani suits, limos and trophy girlfriends. he drives a truck, wears cargo shorts and a t-shirt. i like that. so in the end, go packers!!
