i love having a day off! friday night i went out with my friends and drank an arsenal of beer. then we sang karyoke until the wee hours of the morning. that was followed by a long day at work. last night we had pizza rolls and bagel bites while we watched airplane. i feel asleep early of course.
i have a question. i find it funny that girls have guy friends all the time. they hang out, go drinking etc. but it seems guys dont have female friends they do that with. either they are a couple or nothing. how would a girl who's in a steady relationship feel about her man hanging out with another girl as "just friends"? or vice versa. early on in my marriage i would have had issues with that but now i dont. it seems "healthy" to interact with both sexes.
on a side note. the last two fridays at the bar we have ended up watching her on the food network. i think its funny that a bunch of construction workers are in a bar getting tanked while making catcalls at giada.

It's not "healthy" hanging out with other women if it bothers your wife/girlfriend or if you're having marriage problems. It's called triangulation. It crowbars you away from facing the issue with denial and how cool this unaffected person is. And it's just asking for trouble imo.
That's what I was told in couples counseling many years ago and I'm sticking with it.
But I think it totally depends on the situation.
