yay for the weekend. today im taking my daughters clothes shopping. i have the same pair of pants for a long time but i guess they are still growing so everything fits tight. it should be fun. i like going out to malls and department stores etc. ill get my son a toy since he doesnt need clothes. he wants a sand people action figure from star wars.
we had the dishwasher repairman come for the third time. the dishes never come out dry. he says use rinse jet or something like that and that will get them dry. i always though that stuff kept your dishes from getting spots. i think ill call above him and complain that i want a new dishwasher. the oven has one burner that doesnt light. their solution is to wiggle the cap and then it will light. its a brand new oven, you shouldnt have to wiggle anything. you dont buy a new car and have them tell you,"put a srewdriver here and then it will start". the quality of work and customer service has really gone out the door. noone cares how much you spent on your home or how long you saved to aquire it. they just want their money and move on.
work is kind of goofy right now. i spent last week building a material hoist that goes up four levels. it was alot of fun and i want to do another one. the crane tech wanted to have me and my partner work a double shift, wich means alot of double time, but our boss said no. the crane boss said we are paying them the double time not you. still he said no. i think it was a power trip. i wanted to work it really bad because my sons birthday is next week and i wanted to get him a ton of toys. ill be back in my normal gang on monday. it has changed alot. we have three new guys. all the things i spent during the summer accumulating are gone. these boomers dont know that here you have to "steal" equiptment and hide it if you want to keep it for the whole job. there is very little honesty on the job sites. there should be another few tower crane jumps coming up. the building is at the 18th story right now with plenty more left.
well im off to a breakfast buffet with the family and then shopping. yay!
