today is the world cup final. unfortunately mexico wont be in it. maybe before i die i will see them in the final. its hard to decide who to root for. i would like to see zidane go out a winner. he is a really good player who plays for my favorite team, real madrid. my grandmothers father is from genoa, italy so being a little italian i want them to win. i guess i just want to see a good game. unlike the 1990 final which had to be the most boring. oh well, at least there will be a reason to have cold ones sunday morning.

my daughters are out of town staying with my parents for a month. you would not believe how peacful it is around here. my boy stayed. i think next year he will go. hes still to clingy to leave us for a long visit. but since theres no girls its off to the toy store to get him all the cool toys out there. i love spoiling my little boy.

the job is going good. theres 3 tower cranes and my gang is split up between the 3 cranes. the building is slow in going up but once we get past the parking garage, casino and retail levels onto the rooms, it should go up fast. last night two of my ironworker friends, their wives and kids came over for a bbq and a beer drinking session. it was good fun.
