there are so many songs that when you hear them you instantly remember a specific point in your life. i heard "born to be wild" on the way home from subway. it reminded me of when i started working for reals. my arms were covered in goosebumps!

I can totally relate. There are so many songs that remind me of "firsts."
DramaRama's "Anything Anything" can both fire me up or make me reflect solemnly.

allright now to expand on my previous entry. when i was little i lived in mexico. in mexico everyone has maids, even the maids have maids. me and my mom had this made named gloria. she had light brown hair, green eyes, and pale skin. she was 13 years old when she was with us. she lived in our house so that meant she did...

Yes, taooine is now some kind of resort, but the only thing left are some papier mch buildings. And kids trying to sell you bracelets at one dinar.

Why is it that all my mexican relatives would scare us with all kinds of stories, cucuy, The crying lady(I dont know how to spell it, I can only say it in spanish lol). That brings back some memories of me and all my cousins scaring each other and just being kids wink skull skull skull skull skull skull

That made me laugh. I personally like to watch stupid ass comedies. Robot Chicken has become my new favorite.

im back from my week long trip to texas. i really enjoyed it and i got to relax. during my stay there i really noticed how different my parents treat me and my brother and my brothers girlfriend and Ta2dMom. she always pointed this out but i never really saw it. or i would just say "ignore it". this visit though i pointed it...

man, i know just what you're talking about. my husband's parents are the same way.
they're always very two-faced to me and do all they can to make me feel unwelcome while still keeping up a facade of "oh noooo. we loooooove your wife, son!!!"
his sister's rotating schedule of baby daddies and fuck buddies were always given the royal treatment while i, the steady, live-in girlfriend turned wife and mother of their grandchild, got the shaft.
until recently, mr. radio thought i was overreacting and it sucked, for lack of a better word.
its a totally complicated and ridiculous situation that makes me all grumpy just thinking about it.
mad

on a happier topic, tell eli amelia says thank you! wink

i love having a day off! friday night i went out with my friends and drank an arsenal of beer. then we sang karyoke until the wee hours of the morning. that was followed by a long day at work. last night we had pizza rolls and bagel bites while we watched airplane. i feel asleep early of course.

i have a question. i find...

Glad you had a good day off and a great weekend. They male / female dynamic is beyond me wink
jeseryn:
Depends on what's going on in a couples relationship that determines whether it's healthy or not to hang out with the opposite sex.

It's not "healthy" hanging out with other women if it bothers your wife/girlfriend or if you're having marriage problems. It's called triangulation. It crowbars you away from facing the issue with denial and how cool this unaffected person is. And it's just asking for trouble imo.

That's what I was told in couples counseling many years ago and I'm sticking with it. wink

But I think it totally depends on the situation.

I hope you enjoy your time off. Glad you like the pictures as well. I spend too much time perusing the web for such pictures.
Indian food is one of my favorites. I especially love Chicken Tiki Marsala.
Have a great week.

Prawn Korma on a bed of Basmati rice is my favourite Indian dish...not too hot, not too spicy...perfect for the Western palette...yum!!

i was sad when germany lost the soccer worldcup
i loved to see them winning and it was really good for the situation in germany cause it also helped the economy and the motivation of the people

and since the worldcup the "feeling" in germany is still better.. people are not so mad about the politicias like they were before and such thing

hope you understand what i mean surreal
candee:

Handover of the new house is due on 17th August smile

Yup, the pup has 2 winter vests biggrin It's been bloody cold here lately.

I love my inlaws to pieces, but can only tolerate seeing them for a limited amount of time. Same as my own parents, actually. I'm a very private person & although I enjoy socialising / entertaining, I do like being able to retreat to the peace & quiet of my own space.

Yup, at the end of May I made the decision to downsize & close my books. I am not recruiting any new faces. Due to an unforeseen growth spurt in my journalism career, I was unable to continue representing so many models. I simply didn't have the time to run both businesses at an optimum level. The 4 girls & 4 guys I retained are the ones who have received the most interest from the industry, attended the most castings, & done the most work for the agency. I will continue representing them till this time next year, at which point I will review the situation again.

PS. I wish I had a house in Mexico!!

PPS. To answer your sex question: I'd have to say 'no, not necessarily', although if it wasn't still earth shattering, do you think I'd still be with him after 13+ years!!
