heres something completely unfun: just got done writing a check to the city for $300. the super not cool reason one might wonder? for shooting off one, and only one, roman candle on july the fourth within the city limits. while earlier, the rest of my pals had blown up half a million of them to a captive audience in front of the bar. neat. i find it a little more than ironic that i have to pay the man for celebrating general freedom, but maybe i'm just too base to get the subtle nuances of modern texas justice.

at least 'new girl week' is rolling along super nice.

and, at least i get to go to work after mailing this ticket. that's awesome.
