what do insane in-your-face action sequences, a modern day love tale of epic proportions, a car chase or three thrown in for some good 'click click boom' action, and an all star cast have in rapturous common?
the transporter, that's what. wow. what a phenomenal movie from the first frame. i mean this movie just didn't stop. it grabs ahold of you by your cheap fat lapels and propels you into what some might consider a maelstrom of cinematic force. it is not a right but more like a duty to sit there, riveted, waiting to see what will happen within the next few seconds.
more ass kicking? check. daredevil stuntwork of a caliber so high that jackie chan is now weeping in seclusion over his past efforts combined? righto. an off kilter love story gone awry and back again bound together in the end by a message so poignant that one feels compelled to run out and sign up for any and all human rights causes? you betcha.
i can't recommend this movie enough. the perfect sizzler if you will. i'm just bummed i got in before the high prices kicked in. i feel like i robbed whoever gets my ticket money by paying matinee.

ok, that was all a lie. that movie blew. i feel like they owe me money really. the only cool part was that it was shot mainly in marseilles so the scenery was nice, but they didn't even show any of the seedier sailorific violence and hangouts down by the docks. and they even filmed some by the docks.
i got tricked by that one for sure. i like that main guy in there from snatch and lock stock, but damn that movie was a dud.
so i get home and that dude is on tv in some movie w/ ice cube. great. burn me once....

i'm down for sunday. bowling afterwards sounds badical too. i'm so sore from playing flag football for like 4 hours straight yesterday that i can hardly walk. yes, i am quite gay.
