sometimes i work a fake name to strangers i meet. one of those names is mike fortune, based on a guy i met when i lived in austin who really had that name. a couple of weeks ago i got really loaded at work and had a go at some frat guy who was fucking w/ me and my friend and got barred from drinking at work. period. forever. on or off duty.

this doesn't please some regulars who like to buy me shots when they are doing them.

so this one regular puts an ad in the local free weekly that just says 'free mike fortune', and the boss saw it.

i think the ban is about to be lifted. great, right when i'm trying to dry out for a spell.

so poor right now, i can't even pay attention.
