this is the way it should be: woke up, ate a perfect amount of mexican food w/ roommate and jab, took jab back to truck left at local bar last nite, got haircut at local rockabilly hair cutting place, three hour nap, delivered italian eaten, talked to ex wife on the phone which was really cool since we haven't talked in forever, and am now reading and making random journal comments ala veronika23.

also, what is the deal about the lack of puppetshows around here. i could really go for a fine display of puppetry these days, and no, i don't mean mtv.

the last kick ass one i saw was in austin when i lived there. these people took over the vacant lot next to their house and built this massive set. something to the tune of about 10 feet high and about20 across. then they proceeded to put together a band that opened up w/ some crazy nonsensical songs and then into a huge production that involved the main puppet travelling to kansas or something to take part in the world armwrestling championship. he needed the money to save his guadalupe river innertube rental business. he picks up a girl along the way, gets his arm ripped off and somehow wins the contest, thus, saving the business for him and his mama. truly spectacular and it was kid friendly. it was all free and they even had like 100 gallons of lemonade to give away.

man, i wish something like that would happen here.
